1. Our Approach to Order Changes
At Vanillagood, we understand that plans can change. Maybe you picked the wrong size, selected the wrong item, or realized you need to ship to a different address. This page explains how you can request to modify or cancel an order placed on Vanillagood.com.
Because we work to process and ship orders as quickly as possible, there is a limited window in which changes or cancellations can be made. We will always do our best to help, but we cannot guarantee that every request can be completed in time.
2. How to Contact Us for Changes or Cancellations
If you need to modify or cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible after placing it:

- Your full name;
- Your order number;
- A clear description of what you want to change or cancel.
We will review your order status and reply with confirmation of what is possible, along with any next steps.
3. Time-Sensitive Window for Order Changes
Orders begin processing quickly after they are placed. In general:
- Before processing/shipping: We may be able to modify or cancel your order if it has not yet been prepared for shipment.
- After processing/shipping: Once your order has entered fulfillment, been packed, or handed to the carrier, changes and cancellations are usually no longer possible.
Because of this, it is very important to reach out as soon as you realize that you need a change. We will always check your order’s real-time status and do our best to accommodate your request when feasible.
4. Types of Modifications You Can Request
Subject to timing and availability, you may request the following changes:
(a) Change of Shipping Address
If your order has not yet shipped, we may be able to update the shipping address. Once a tracking number has been generated or the order has been accepted by the carrier, address changes are typically no longer possible, and you may need to contact the carrier directly for any redirection options they offer.
(b) Change of Size, Color, or Variant
If you selected the wrong size, color, or style, we may be able to update the item in your order before it is processed, provided the requested variant is in stock. If the order has already been prepared for shipment or shipped, we will instead guide you through our Refund & Return Policy for an exchange or return after delivery.
(c) Add or Remove Items
If your order is still in the early stages of processing, we may be able to:
- Remove an item and adjust the total accordingly;
- In some cases, add items (or suggest placing a new order for the additional items).
For significant changes, we may cancel the original order and ask you to place a new order with the correct items to ensure accurate billing and inventory.
(d) Change of Contact Details
If you entered an incorrect email or phone number, please contact us and we will update your contact details in our system so you can receive order updates and notifications correctly.
5. Order Cancellation Requests
You may request to cancel your order any time before it has been processed or shipped. If cancellation is possible, we will:
- Cancel the order in our system; and
- Issue a refund to your original payment method in accordance with our payment provider’s rules.
If your order has already shipped, we are usually unable to cancel it. In that case, you may:
- Accept delivery and then request a return or exchange under our Refund & Return Policy; or
- Contact the carrier to see whether they offer any redirection options (availability varies by carrier).
6. Processing Times for Modifications & Cancellations
We aim to review and respond to order change or cancellation requests as quickly as possible during our normal operating hours. However:
- Requests received outside of regular hours, weekends, or holidays may be handled on the next business day;
- If your order moves into processing or ships before we review your request, we may be unable to apply the modification or cancellation in time.
You will always receive an email confirming whether your request was completed or, if not, what options are available instead.
7. Relationship to Our Refund & Return Policy

If we are no longer able to modify or cancel an order because it has shipped, you may still be eligible to request a return, exchange, or refund within our 30-day customer-friendly policy. We encourage you to review that page for full details.
8. Multiple Orders & Combining Shipments
If you placed multiple orders close together and would like to combine them into one shipment, please contact us as soon as possible with the order numbers. Where feasible, we will try to:
- Ship them together; and
- Adjust shipping charges if appropriate, based on our Shipping Policy and actual shipping costs.
We cannot guarantee that multiple orders can be combined, particularly if one has already been processed or shipped.
9. Orders We May Cancel Proactively
To protect our customers and our business, Vanillagood may cancel an order on our own initiative in situations such as:
- Clear signs of fraudulent or unauthorized use of payment information;
- Orders triggered by obvious listing or pricing errors;
- Items unexpectedly out of stock or discontinued;
- Repeated unsuccessful attempts to confirm shipping or billing details.
In these cases, we will cancel the order and issue a refund to the original payment method, then notify you by email with an explanation and, where possible, suggestions for alternative options.
10. Address Accuracy & Customer Responsibility
It is the customer’s responsibility to provide accurate and complete shipping details at checkout. If the shipping address is incorrect or incomplete and the order has already shipped:
- We may be unable to change the address;
- You may need to contact the carrier directly to see if an address correction or pickup option is available.
If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, we will contact you. Depending on the situation, we may:
- Reship the order to a corrected address (with additional shipping charges); or
- Issue a refund minus any shipping costs incurred, in accordance with our policies.
11. Transparency & Good-Faith Handling of Requests
We aim to handle all modify and cancel requests fairly, transparently, and in good faith. Our goal is to:
- Clearly explain what is possible based on your order status;
- Provide realistic timeframes and next steps;
- Offer alternatives, such as returns or exchanges, when direct changes are no longer possible.
